UPVC Projecting (Awning) Windows hinge at the top of the frame, allowing it to swing up and outwards so that the entire window area is open. The standard projecting window has a UPVC frame, window latch, and a single, glazed, grey, anti-sun glass. The unit offers maximum ventilation which can be controlled by adjusting the angle of the window. In poor weather, the window can remain open as the sash itself can be used as a canopy. The high tech design has multiple chambers within the frame that creates a thermal barrier to reduce air loss and heat transfer.
